The Estonian National Museum is a modern memory institution with long traditions. The rich and constantly supplemented collections, ongoing research and programmes targeted to the public at large make the museum a superb place for getting an overview of Estonian and other Finno-Ugric peoples’ cultures. The main building houses the museum administration and the departments of collections, research and preservation. On working-days the library, photographic collection and archive are open to visitors; the museum object collection can be used by prior arrangement.
