The Estonian Sports Museum is the central museum of Estonian sports, sport culture and sport history. The aim of the museum is to collect, preserve, study and introduce the materials related to the physical culture and sports connected with the history of Estonian country and people. One of the largest sports museums in Nordic and Baltic countries operates as a versatile cultural centre, organizing exhibitions, seminars and conferences, being engaged in publishing and offering interesting activities for children.
The permanent exposition Hortus Athleticus in Estonian and English provides self-educating and entertaining possibilities to most different target groups – from children and tourists to those seriously interested in sports.
