The oldest open-air museum in Estonia lies among the forests of Võru County. This unique museum, which introduces the country life in the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century is divided into two: a farm complex from the time of czarism and an Estonian farm with lots of exhibition objects. One can work with archaic objects and drill, saw, spin, wash laundry, make a rope, and learn how trees and bushes helped against pain and anger. In addition, farm work learning days like horse days, bread days, sheep days and flax days are held.
